Biography
Justin Kline, a 22 year old singer/songwriter who goes by the name of Sleepy River, brings a collection of passionate songs to the table.
His ability to portray emotion and sincerity is clearly evident with just one listen. Each song is performed with layers of soft harmonizing melodies, which brings a soothing atmosphere to its listener. Some of the songs are accompanied by pianos, strings, and other instruments, all of which come together to create beautiful audible art.
While the songs can't really be compared to much, it can be recommended for fans of: Elliott Smith, Iron and Wine, Bright Eyes, John Lennon, and Brian Wilson. The debut full length "The Funeral Birth of a Tree" is now available through the new MD based label, Swingset Records.
