Slim Duece

My Name is Larry Ali, and I’m a young musician. I started pursuing my music career in 1999 at the age of twelve. It was when I got my first beat machine that I was inspired to make something, of talents built up inside. Back then LL Cool J, Too Short, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Jay-Z, Nas, Tupac, and Biggie assisted in the making of an artist self-named “Slim Duece.” Along with proclaiming a name came the beginning of a new production label. “Execution Style Records” was founded in Summer of 1998.

After a preparation of four albums came “Multiple Talents,” the first studio recorded album on compact disc 2005. Underground albums from the CEO “Slim” kept the production label alive; 10* Below: Me, Myself, and Slim: Year of the Duece: and Underground. “Multiple Talents” hit the streets first as an introduction L.P./album (all original content). Then Slim Duece collaborated with Bishop, formally known as Episcopos. “Slaves of Righteousness Vol. 1.” dropped as an E.P. (Half of an L.P.) raking in a status among the Christian Community.

Early Summer 2011 "The Relief Mixtape" was released online. A complation of half a dozen videos and 2k fliers promoted the project. It achieved 15k Youtube Video views, by projects end.

In Mid July 2011, Island Def Jam Backed Single, "Cash-Checks" was digitally released on iTunes, Amazon, and Rhapsody. Planned to be marketed for the duration of one year, this will be the first single off the E.P. "Pay Me In Time-Shares." Prior to release Slim Duece signed a two year agreement with BMI and a Digital Distribution deal with Island Def Jam Recordings (Only for Single).

At the beginning of 2012, "The Expiration Mxtp" was released online. 4 Videos, 2 Hundred CD's, and 5 Hundred fliers were used to promote this project. It achieved 90k Youtube Video views, by projects end.
