Haha his vocals are very hit or miss I find, the whispering ones are great, the screaming "smoke detector" ones not so much. Vocals aside, he always has quality PE.

Nills_iver is an expert on industrial seeing as he makes "experimental/industrial/noise/EBM/aggrotech" on his computer.

Нойз на Chronicle of Serial Murder весьма примитивен. Бусов витийствовал, что се есть "альбом выкупанный в крови жертв". По-видимому, купая альбом, утопили качество.

You can't compare Control and Slogun. Control is top notch US Power Electronics that has far more substance and is very dynamic when it comes to the actual noises and sounds produced. Slogun has a few good releases, I cannot deny that ("Written In Blood" is my favorite), but for the most part Slogun is monotonous and boring. Some walls of low-end, bass filled rumbles that rarely change, feedback, static buzzing and shouting some fairly banal "lyrics" over top isn't, in my book, a recipe for a good album. For US PE I would say that Slogun is near the bottom rung. We have Taint, Control, Pleasure Fluids, Strict, Liver Mortis, FFH and even Deathpile, all of which overshadow Slogun in my eyes.

'bloody roots' is excellent. anyone who finds john's voice wrong just isn't getting it. plus i don't think it's all about overt aggression. there's room for self loathing and vulnerability in PE. control is also ace though.

Yeah, I could see that as I myself had to throw down at a hXc show with five (yes 5!) hardline sXe douche nozzles. That was when the hydro cephalic Hi-Karate style of moshing was hitting the scene. One of the sXe cunt bags was swinging his fists around and low and behold connected with a girls face. All class these guys. So I took him down. That's when his boyfriends jumped on me outta nowhere. Not very sporting mate! Anyway, you've given me flash backs friend.

if only you saw him live, i was at least 40 feet away from him and still thought he was going to beat the shit out of me as much as many others in the audience. gave me flashbacks of when hardliners would come to HxC shows and beat up 14 yr olds. the only person i saw him beat up, was robert of deadly orifice, who seems to enjoy that sort of thing which i didn't know at the time. really bummed me out but felt fortunate to feel such extreme feelings of real hatred in pe. them passing the mic around saying fuck you seemed a bit too juvenile and bromantic for a finish.

I bought two Slogun albums and have decided that they are passable. As far as the machismo aspec is conserned I have no problem with it. It's terribly trendy to poo-poo anything with a masculine or heroic dimension in the modern era. If anyone really had a problem with brute force making there lives easier I'd recommend moving to a third word island. Could be good for you...not me.
