It is what? Nuclear blasted? I mean, butthurt fanboys and -girls always took Nuclear Blast as a reason when their favorite band's got more accessible to have a black sheep to blame. With "Unia", Sonata Arctica actually began to get more complicated and progressive, so that's the new "get nuclear blasted" now? Hilarious. Some bands evolve, some don't. Get over it.

Love the melodies, the prog sound is a little hard to get used too at first. After a couple listens it got better but still my least favorite.

With this album, it's really : Love it or hate it. When it came out I so hated it I even stop listening to Sonata Arctica during one year after that. Then a friend makes me listening to Caleb and I wanted to listen to this album again. And now I can easily say it's the only Sonata Arctica's album I can listen in one whole without getting bored! From far the most unexpectable, the most progressive, the most mature of their albums. In this album they are not anymore doing power metal.

haha sucks that the best track on the album (to create a warlike feel) is a bonus track

After hearing this their oldest albums are too pale and straight forward for me. I see how people think it's sloppy cause it doesn't have the speed of previous albums, but you'll love it if you listen to it with a different approach. Unia also takes many listens before you appreciate it to the max (like most of my favorite albums). Unia is still my fav album from Sonata, even after Days of Grays

It's like, hey guys, let's take all the boring parts of "Don't Say a Word" and make an album out of that. All this album does is make me want to listen to any other Sonata Arctica album.

Ecliptica is definitely their best but out of winterhearts guild and this I d have to go eith their new sound. And btw days of grays is rlly rlly good. Probably better than silence and reckoning night!!

Their weakest album. Ecliptica, Silence(♡) and Winterheart's Guild are the best albums for me.

Try copying the cover into a paint program and inverting the colours to get a nice 'frozen' effect. I like it much more than the normal cover.

because it's more progressive and most of the kids that listen to sonata don't like this ;] the true is that... because sonata became so popular most of the listeners are some 12-13 year kids...
