Biography
The band Spin Provider is a union of two young independent musicians, formed in 2005 in Moscow.
сy_сwb — the first band member and it’s founder started from electropunk, and 6514 (lyrics) experimented with mixing religious songs and grim drum’n’bass.
So they reached the same idea by their own ways: they express their view of ideal world through industrial and independent music. A world as a complicated mechanic construction, factory-world, described in lyrics by 6514, united with сy_сwb’s harsh rhythm, highlighting the imprisoned movement subjects. Thus the totalitarian romantic conception was born.
Step-by-step leaving the melodious future-pop sound SP turns to harsh dance music, mixing oldschool EBM and modern heavy electronics.
In 2006 SP took part in a remix compilation 'Re-Wakening' dedicated to The-Pulsar band from St. Petersburg (Advoxya label).
In 2007 the virtual label Dead Channel released a retrospective album 'The Beginning' which included most of older tracks of the band.
In Jan 2008 the virtual label Dead Channel released a single 'Poehali!' which included 3 original tracks and 6 remixes from other bands.
