I'm not a fan of female vocals, but Courtney's screams and vocals command respect. And her feat with crown the empire very impressed.

This band confounds me. Their songs fall into two categories: pop-infused metal with emotional choruses, and screeching, agonized dissonant alt-metal. I love the former but can't seem to stomach the latter.

I didn't know there was going to be a music video for every song on the EP, we are so fucking spoiled.

The fear of fear is fucking incredible! Really wish it was a full length but oh well! they said next year they are working on the next album so thats hype.

I’ve been waiting for this day. The Fear of Fear is so heavy and goes so hard. Looks like I’ll have it on repeat 🔥

The Fear of Fear lives up to the hype (well my own hype anyways). It is safe to safe they have definitely moved on from their original sound and people really need to get over it. The new EP is a banger from Cellar Door to Ultraviolet.

Saw these guys open for Shinedown & Papa Roach. Wow! I am seriously impressed. Her vocal range is incredible with super smooth transitioning. What a badass!

No matter how many times I try I just can't seem to get into this band. Which is a shame, because I love Courtney's vox, but the music's just too squeaky clean for my tastes.

Even their older stuff? Anyone who can't get into Eternal Blue or later, I always recommend The Mara Effect 1-3, Perennial, or Electric Cross. Definitely still produced, but more chaotic and unique.

There are songs I like from the first EP up until Eternal Blue, but overall I'm just not really into that particular style of metalcore. Bands like Rolo Tomassi, Greyhaven, and Cult Leader are more up my alley (let alone legends like Converge and The Dillinger Escape Plan).

Rolo Tomassi is pretty cool. It's funny because it's the opposite for me; I'm not into metalcore much at all, but I love Spiritbox, although mainly their EP and old Singles.
