It's a crime how overlooked this band is. Vtra is a modern black metal classic that deserves praise.

an all around fantastic band, it's a shame they are rarely mentioned even before splitting up.

I don't really find myself listening to Kosmokrator that often but Non Dvcor, Dvco and Vltra are fantastic. The latter is a bit more complex and varied (I was gonna use the word 'progressive' but that's kinda pushing it) musically and has somewhat unusual production for a BM album, really vintage and almost 70s sounding but it's still filled with riffs.

Okay, turns out L'inizio samples part of Carl Orff's Carmina Burana, specifically the spring part. Weird, I thought SEW would have chosen an Italian composer, but whatever, it works.

Magnificat is a bad-ass album/compilation/whatever. Anyone got a recommendation for where to go next" Also, what's the piece of music that they sampled in L'inizio? I know I've heard it before, and I get the feeling that it's pretty famous, but I'm totally blanking on it. I thought it might have been Ottorino Respighi, but now I'm not sure...

Con una band del genere in Italia mi stupisco che nessuno ne abbia tratto ispirazione...

I've never seen any. I did tab out Non Dvcor, Dvco and Reminescenza di illusione lunare... but my PC died. ;< If I get bored I might put them to tab again it just seems kinda pointless haha.
