Biography
Steel Fury was a heavy metal band from Montgomery, Alabama. They were formed in 1987 by Tim Berryhill (guitar, vocals) Tim Casin (bass, vocals) and Dana Lauderdale (drums, vocals). They always had the same lineup and there are no known past members nor did they have any additional members that joined them. Steel Fury primarily played a thrash metal style with other influences such as traditional speed metal and traditional power metal. They were signed to New Renaissance Records and they had one release with the label.
They only released one full-length album entitled Lesser of Two Evils in 1989. Their song No More appeared on The Future of Metal Is Now - The Steamhammer Compilation , which was released by the German heavy metal & hard rock label Steamhammer in 1990. They were not signed to Steamhammer, New Renaissance Records was the last label they were signed to. Steel Fury disbanded in 1990.
