Biography
Steve is a Chicago radio talk show personality, who considers himself an early influence on Howard Stern.
He is most famous for "Disco Demolition," which was the out-of-control July 12, 1979 between-games rally against disco at Chicago's old Comiskey Park. The on-field mayhem caused the cancellation of the second game between the Chicago White Sox and the Detroit Tigers. (See: http://www.stevemandich.com/otherstuff/disco.htm )
