Short Biography

An atypical for this composer born in the United States, a Cherokee father and an American mother of French origin, for whom music is a mode of communication between people regardless of their language, their culture, religion.
Steve Shehan has personally written and produced 15 albums over twenty years, as well as film soundtracks: Bye Bye Karim Dridi, the master of the elephants Patrick Grandperret. He also participated in the soundtrack of the film Kirikou and The Lover .
His album Elevations in collaboration with the singer, musician and painter Iranian Reza Derakshani , released in June 2006, was selected by FIP this year. The duo has performed on several occasions including a "Live at FIP" in November 2006 and at Sunset in Paris in February 2007.
