There are at least five different artists/bands using the name Subconscious.
Subconscious | berlinmetalcore
Brutal, manifold and yet comprehensible - SUBCONSCIOUS from Berlin are convincing through an energetic live performance and authentic, stirring Metalcore.
Formed in 1999, the band played several shows with bands such as Born from Pain, Narziss, Maroon, Fall of Serenity, Shortage, Fall of A Season …. Their rather oldschool-dominated debut "Trains Of Thought" - (2000) was then followed by "Arising" (2002) and "From The Ashes" (2004), two self-recorded and produced CD EPs, which brought them closer to the modern and brutal Metalcore.
Early in 2006, SUBCONSCIOUS recorded their latest material at the "Daily Hero Recordings" Studio in Berlin, being released in late summer 2006 and entitled "Forever Is Now". Musically, this album combines elements of Thrashmetal, Newschool-HC and Scandinavian Deathmetal: razor-sharp riffs, mixed with heavy Mosh-Parts and melodic guitar lines in two voices.
2006 Subconscious signed with PRAY FOR NOTHING Records to release the "Forever Is Now" Album on September 15th.
For the final mastering of their record, the band got Peter "Pluto" Neuber from "Mega Wimp Sound", who also pimped the recordings from bands like BORN FROM PAIN, DISINTER, SEPTIC FLESH, AVULSED and more…
Anyone who is into bands like As I Lay Dying, Neaera or Heaven Shall Burn will certainly enjoy SUBCONSCIOUS.

Subconscious | Alaska-Oregon
The latest release from Alaska-Oregon transplant Subconscious is "Runways and Shorelines". Produced by Steve Holt (36 Crazyfists) and mastered by Troy Glessner (Emery, Underoath), the music is sonically dense, but emotionally connected. Lyrically, vocalist Dan Hall revisits a year of broken relationships, foreign countries, and new beginnings.
A Bullet for Every Name, the albums opener, hits with an intensity that is echoed throughout the majority of the album, while Monument, which features electronics and samples, takes them in a more ambient direction.
With such a diverse sound, Runways and Shorelines creates a division that sets Subconscious apart from other post-hardcore outfits. Hall and his bandmates, guitarist Ari Katcher, bassist Andrew Totemoff, and drummer Corey Coverstone are some of the harder working indie musicians on the scene today. Now residents of Portland, Oregon, Subconscious developed their sound with countless shows in their hometown of Anchorage, Alaska.
The release of their 2002 self-titled EP landed them an offer to record with producer Don Flemming (Sonic Youth, Hole), along with a full endorsement with Red Bull Energy Drink. Their follow-up 2004 LP This Empty Room put them on contract with national distributors BCD Music Group. After less than a year in Portland, they released the 2005 EP An Excuse to Forget, which was supported by a full West Coast tour. Subconscious has shared the stage with national acts 36 Crazyfists, Anatomy of a Ghost, Dry Kill Logic, Exodus, The Goodwill, Kane Hodder, Manntis, Nural, The Presidents of the United States of America, Skinlab, Twelve Tribes, and Unjust.
A solid live sound and an active stage presence draw a number of familiar faces to their shows. Following the release of Runways and Shorelines, the boys hit the road to tour throughout the remainder of the year.

Subconscious | german progressive death metal
This south german death metal band is rooted with some activities and projects under this name in the 90s (1991-1996). They quit after releasing 3 self-released demo cds and changed their music style in many kinds - from crossover to german metalrock.
In 2003 Joern Langenfeld reanimated the old name for an real band, based on the ideas and roots of the 90s. After releasing 2 Rehearsals (2004/2005) the band signed the german label SCR for releasing their "Irregular" called full lenght CD in April 2006.

Subconscious | Bangladeshi Band
The “Subconscious” is a rock band from Bangladesh known for their crispy and ironical songs. The group of five musicians comprising of Raihan Alamgir Lukan, Johan Alamgir, Nabil Salauddin, Sujoy Ahmed and Shehrina Kamal became famous in 2002. Their early years were mostly spent in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
