Sylvie Symbiosis is a Canadian electronic musician. Her style generally falls within a generally minimal, generally ambient base, but also is often reminiscent of the simple chord structures and minimalist production values of old video games, evidenced in a very literal way with the title song to her "Love History" collection.
Her name reflects both the stylistic and musical aspects of her music. "Sylvie" is reference to her vaguely youthful, wistful, minimalist aesthetic and "Symbiosis" indicates the relationship she has with the worn-out and ancient music technology she often prefers.
