P.L.U.C.K. (Politically Lying, Unholy, Cowardly Killers) is a song by alternative metal group System of a Down. It is the first album of the band. The music was composed by Daron Malakian and the lyrics were written by Serj Tankian, but also includes parts of the poem "Victims of a Down" written by Daron Malakian. The song was originally composed in 1995, although it was slightly different.
Theme Song
This song is dedicated to the victims of the Armenian genocide. Remember that all the band members are Armenian descent. Many other songs of the band like Holy mountains for example, try or believed that addresses issues like these. The group has fought for official recognition in the USA. UU. of this situation.
It can also be heard in the movie "Ararat" by Atom Egoyan produced in 2002, speaking about the Armenian Genocide of 1915.
