Tömmermenn is among the heaviest, grooviest and tightest bands in Norway. They have been mixing their own kind of power, energy and melodic sense since 1995 and are well known for their powerful live expression. They don't like to call their music "metal", but prefers to be called "The heaviest rock band in Norway". All their lyrics are in Norwegian.
The band emerged as a natural progression from the musical tastes and explorations the current band-members shared in their younger years and the result should speak for itself. A signature for the band is singer Geir Berntsens unique vocal capabilities. He comfortably handles everything from the deepest growls of Black metal to the sweetest falsetto.
What is unique with Tömmermenn is that they reach heavy-rock and metal-fans of all ages! They make melodic tunes with catchy refrains. The band sound as raw live as they do on records. They deliver a furious show, with raw sound and an ass kicking performance from each and all of the members.
How heavy is the music? Well… their first full-length album was called Tolv Tonn (Twelve Tons), and that's pretty heavy!
