Male Japanese popular artist, originally from Shiga Prefecture. Debuted with single “Dokusai -monopolize-” in May 1996. “HEART OF SWORD ~Yoake Mae~” was used as an ending theme to the anime series Rurouni Kenshin. Also had five other songs featured in the Mobile Suit Gundam SEED anime franchise, including three for Gundam SEED (“INVOKE”, “Meteor”, and “Zips”) and two for Gundam SEED Destiny (“ignited” and “vestige”). Made two North American appearances: Otakon 2003 and Pacific Media Expo 2004. Currently (since April 2005) the cohost of NHK music variety show Pop Jam.
