One of the best albums of the "grunge" era, along with "Nevermind", "Badmotorfinger", "Superunknown", "Ten" and "Versus". I know there are other great ones, but to me, those are the ones that I feel transcend the genre and really are all-time rock classics.

This record talks about love and anger in a so profound way that these opposite feelings connect together

So many great songs on this one. Guys like Creed would chop their legs off with blunt spoons to write songs like "Call Me A Dog", "Hunger Strike" and "Say Hello To Heaven"

I'm sort of glad they only had one album. You look up Temple of the Dog. You see they have one sole album titled "Temple of the Dog" which might make you think they're a failed side project or bad underground band if you don't know any background. Then you listen to the album and its completely amazing. They didn't have a chance to tarnish their name with any bad songs. Not a one.
