Biography

  • Born

    31 July 1986 (age 37)

Tempo Giusto is a young producer-DJ from Turku, Finland. Starting his electronic dance music career early 2007, Tempo Giusto is currently considered as one of the most prolific producers in the world and is already recognized by several international labels that release his music such as Black Hole, Premier, In Trance We Trust, and Detox to name just a few. Tempo Giusto is also the co-owner of Finland’s most active digital dance label, Echelon Records.
Tempo Giusto is known for his unique and eccentric works. His trademark is “club progressive” that combines driving progressive and melodic trance with industrial and techy percussions. Although having released several more melodious tracks, Tempo Giusto is best known for his dark, hypnotic progressive and tech bangers. His debut EP “Agent Orange / Calling” gained support from DJs and artists around the world such as Tiesto, Sean Tyas and Ferry Corsten. “Agent Orange” was also voted as the 5th best track of the month in Corsten’s Countdown in April 2008 and Tempo Giusto was awarded the 2nd spot a few months later with a more melodic trancer, “One Among Others”. In year 2008 alone Tempo Giusto has had over 40 tracks released worldwide and has gained the support for his works from Markus Schulz, Paul Van Dyk, Will Holland, Solarstone, Matt Darey, Cor Fijneman, Marcus Schossow, Thomas Sagstad, Mark Eteson, Tom Colontonio and Mr. Sam among others. Tempo Giusto is also known for his numerous collaborative works in Synthika and Syncope, and for his technoish alias Thomas Kandinsky.

As a DJ, Tempo Giusto’s motto for a successful club night is to concentrate on varying driving progressive and deeper, melodic trancers with techy beats. In other words, he stays true to his trademark. Besides doing live shows in Finland and Sweden, and featuring in numerous guest mixes, Tempo Giusto also hosts two monthly radio shows as himself and with Synthika on the growing AfterHours.FM. His own 2-hour set, Global Sound Drift, is a thrilling experience for a clubber anticipating a mix filled with continuous energy, smashing bangers and symphonic trancers. Tempo Giusto’s radio shows result in hundreds of replies and his mixing style and ear for fresh tracks are critically acclaimed. It is no wonder that after hearing Tempo Giusto’s club shaker “Blow”, fellow producer Marcus Schossow commented that “Tempo Giusto is on his way to something great.”
