Biography
Hailing from sunny Portland, Oregon, The Abilene Four is an indie folk/pop rock band. Vocalist, guitar player, songwriter, and current all-around instrumentalist for The Abilene Four, Adam Brockman began writing songs in his current style in 2001 while living for a brief time in the south of France. In 2009, Adam said farewell to the Windy City and moved to The City of Roses to live and make music in the majestic natural landscape and amazing music community of the Pacific Northwest. Influences include Neutral Milk Hotel, The Mountain Goats, Wilco, Cat Stevens, Radiohead, Jeff Buckley, Bob Dylan, Fleet Foxes, Elliot Smith, and The Vaselines.
