Thanks to my dad. I grew up on this album. Its still an absolutely fantastic album. This is one of those albums that really helped build my taste in music. A timeless gem thats aged gorgeously.

The weakest album of Parsons in the 70's. I mean, it has good moments here and there, but it's totally out of place most of the time, with vague ideas and songs that eventually finish with a fade out just for the sake of it. Anyways, it's good material if you are a big fan of him (though i prefer Pyramid, Tales, Eye in the Sky or Turn of the Friendly Card instead).

I used to listen to this from dad's collection, on his Marantz turntable, back in the late 70's when we were living in Germany. He gave me the turntable about a decade back, shortly after which it died it's final, irreparable death. He gave me all the vinyl from that old collection finally just a couple years ago and it's mostly all still in pristine condition, though i'm spinning it these days on a 12 year old Stanton. I think "Some Other Time" is still my fave track on the album.

In years past this is the best mood setting music I can relax to and let loose of the days stress.
