Resident in Cork Ireland, The Arcadeans is a product of over 20 years of song writing and live performance in the Irish music industry. As a result of such extensive music experience, The Arcadeans draw their originality and creativity from 60’s music right through to modern day. Rather than follow a particular music style, The Arcadeans are influenced by guitar legends and composers past and present including people like Phil Lynott, Keith Richards, Rory Gallagher, Nic Cester (Jet), Noel Gallagher, Billie Joe Armstrong (Green Day), The Edge.
Formed in 2008, The Arcadeans set about recoding their debut CD “Big Blue”, comprising 11 songs ranging from melodic acoustic ballads to harder edge guitar focused rock songs like “On Call”. From the off the range of musical influences are clearly present on the CD, while still maintaining an Irish organic rock feel to the music.
