The Austin Francis Connection (a.k.a. The AFC) are a band bringing a groovy, relaxed form of acoustic hip-hop suitable for both you and your mum!
A three piece hailing from Gloucester / Nottingham, The Austin Francis Connection consists of Edi Johnston - a genius MC and student of rhyme, Hobbit a young beatbox talent who provides both drum and bass for the group -and Mark Finney - a talented acoustic guitarist who rounds off the sound of the band.
The AFC have garnered a lot of support through touring and playing at numerous festivals across the UK including Godiva, Wychwood, H3, NthFest and Greenbelt. With a unique and original sound, great personalities and stage presence like a bear on a unicycle drinking a large cup of tea the Austin Francis Connection are certainly a band to watch over the next few years…
The AFC are currently holed up in the studio working on songs for their long awaited first album proper.
