NowhereMan-No9
I do not mean to react to anyone in particular or any one person's comments, nor all comments. Simply trying to express what some might yet others might not realize (if in agreement) or even think about. IMO there's so much more to this track than most realize, perhaps even more than Lennon himself intended. "He" is not just a bit like you and me. He is you and me, all of us, all at the same time: potentiality personified. Just as much director of the grand play of life as each and every actor/actress that ever has, is and will take the stage, be it human or otherwise - an (id)entity most often forgotten by them-/her-/himself. A blessing by way of being the source of life/experience, yet cursed by ignorance regarding their own being. Both the Creator (through "essence", NOT causation) and the Creation of life, just as the gold in a gold necklace is the creator in essence of the gold necklace itself. Nowhere Man: a representation of each and every one of us, of life itself.

John Lennon on point with the lyrics. Paul McCartney absolutely killing it on the bass. Them and George Harrison kicking it on the vocals and harmonies. I tell you people The Beatles don't get much better than this.

I always thought that in "Nowhere Man" John was writing about himself...the same as with "I'm a Loser" was purely autobiographical and showed the influence that Bob Dylan had on them at the time.

This Statement is a Well known Fact !!! Sorry... I Love My Paul As Well... I'm reading Some Comments on many Songs kike Paul was the Leader of The Beatles... Sorry, But Once again,... It was John Lennon !!! People ? Get The Facts Correct !!!

Vintage Paul McCartney, his bassline carrying the song with such natural grace.
