hands down their best and one of the better albums of the late 90s for its seamless mix of electronica, pop & alternative rock.

Good album, but definitely not their best. It's such a different road they went in, it makes comparing it to their previous albums almost impossible.

It's one of the few records that's completely digital. There's no natural reverb or other natural occurring effects. Yes, it's a bold choice, but original nonetheless.

I still don't like most of the album :/ good that they took a break and then came up with Long Gone Before Daylight that I adore completely :) (I listened to the radio one day (I think it was 2007) and the DJ said they were going to play a song form Cardigans' latest CD called... Gran Turismo xD and they played Lovefool... o_O)

Half the tracks on this page are playing remixed versions from the 'Gran Turismo Overdrive' album, not the proper album tracks. Disappointed puppy, because i can't find my CD :\

From http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/music/features/nina-persson-the-cardigans-were-a-machine-1520051.html, where Nina Persson talks about Gran Turismo: "I remember finding a dead bat in the woods near the studio one day. I took it back, nailed it to the wall, and sang every word to the bat, and to nobody else."
