Biography

The Dreamer and the Sleeper is a pop rock/synthpop band based out of Santa Barbara, California, formed in November 2005. They are an independent band made up of two official band members: Nick Pappageorgas and Easton Broome. They have released a number of tracks via the internet, two independently released EPs, and an independently released full length album.

**History**
2006 Demos
The Dreamer and the Sleeper officially formed in late 2005 but did not release any material until April 2006. A demo version of "Leaving the Hospital; I'm Going Home" was released April 23, 2006 on the bands myspace page. The band continued to release demos throughout 2006 before announcing that they would be releasing their debut album sometime during the Spring of 2007. All of these demo's would be released on either The Oh, Is for Overture EP or Fireworks except one song titled Charmer.

Oh, Is for Overture EP
In December of 2006 The Dreamer and the Sleeper announced that they would be releasing an EP prior to the release of their full-length album, which had now been titled Fireworks. The EP was described by the band as being an EP of bonus tracks from the Fireworks recording sessions. The Oh, Is for Overture EP was released digitally on March 9, 2007 but due to packaging problems was not released in hard-copy form until April 2007. The first pressing of EP was released in extremely limited quantities. Each EP was hand packaged and numbered: one out of fifty copies printed. The album was released along with FireworksFireworks on iTunes in mid May 2008.

Fireworks
The Dreamer and the Sleeper released their debut, independent full-length album Fireworks in digital format only on July 7th, 2007. The band released the album for free to all who wished to download the album until November 2007. The album was released on iTunes in mid May 2008.

The Holiday EP
On November 30th 2007 the band released another extremely limited edition EP. The Holiday EP is comprised of four original songs inspired by the holiday & winter seasons and a cover of Wham's Last Christmas.

Autumn in the Evening
On June 2nd, 2009 the band released their second full length album, Autumn in the Evening. The album was released on The Dreamer and the Sleeper's own label, Icarus Kids Recordings.
