The Early Memoir is the name that David Kent performs his music under. Started in 2006 as a project outside of his then post-hardcore band, The Needless, he began writing acoustic based songs inspired by everyone from bob dylan to elliott smith. He released a self-recorded EP called "Rescue Me, Rescue You" in 2006 to favorable reviews, despite the recording quality and played shows all over Germany in support of it.
