Biography
The Fires Of have been representing Toronto indie-pop since 2008, when the collective was first formed. The members came together through a mutual love of ultimate frisbee, Wings and rocking. With decades of writing in obscurity under their belts, The Fires Of found they were able to consume original songs at an alarming rate. And so the band continues to expand. Like sea monkeys. With amps. Their first album (The Fires Of) was produced by Michael Kulas. Their second album, The Noise Around The Mean, was released in February 2012.
