Originating in Washington DC, The Junkyard Band was one of the first bands of the regional go-go genre, characterized by its upbeat percussion made from everyday items such as trash cans. The Junkyard Band's current members are Buggs, KC, T-Bob, Wink, Baker, Prince, Smurf, and Moe Ji.
