Irish alternative/pop group The Manhattan Syndrome are building momentum with their ‘mesmerizing’ debut EP ‘And We Left It Behind’.
Taking influence from the drive of Arcade Fire, the mood of The National, and their own pop-sensibilities; The Manhattan Syndrome have forged a dynamic style of their own. ‘And We Left It Behind’ accommodates both the band’s driven rhythm and an emphasis on melody led vocals. Sentiments of isolation and alienation surface throughout, backed by a sometimes sparse, sometimes epic sound-scape.
