I don't understand. Should the album be 5 songs, 6 (with Cassandra Gemini split in half), or 12 (with Cassandra taking 8 parts)?

This album, this song cleaned my ears and got me out of around a decade long Jeff Buckley obsession and down the rabbithole of prog rock and music with more energy. Silly me thought I'd run out of prog :D. Everything in this track packs such a punch and my jaw actually really dropped on first listen. An obsession started that leaves TMV still on top on my last.fm

This is definitely high in all my lists of favourite things, and though I am yet to listen to some parts of TMV's discography, I'd say this is my favourite album by them as well, each song just grasps you and doesn't wanna let you go, in all its chaos and messiness. I've come to like it very gradually, last song that I got being Miranda That Ghost Just isn't Holy Anymore. And some moments are just the stuff that stays with you - the Con Safo part of Cygnus, the chorus of The Widow, the latino parts of L'Via, the epic chorus of Miranda, and of course NO THERE'S NO LIGHT of Cassandra Gemini (not that these are the sole parts that deserve attention, but, y'know, personal highlights)

Actually 32½ (or, to be 100% accurate, 32:32), but apart from that, you are correct.

La única forma en que Cassandra Gemini debería ser escuchada es en la versión completa de 31 minutos.

i dont understand the People wich dont appreciate Amputechture and Bedlam in Goliath. I Agree that Frances is their strongest but the first 4 Albums are all extremely strong and intense.

Not to mention praising a lot of unknown indie bands just to look edgy and cool. I gotta give a credit to them though, I discovered a lot of great artists because of their year end lists.

man, Pitchfork in 2017/2018 is completely unrecognizable compared to Pitchfork in 2007/2008 and even in 2015. Unknown indie bands? I WISH. that's what I liked! Now it's all hip-hop/pop/trendy electronic-centered. You'll never see a Mars Volta album review from them again even if they reunited.

Sometimes I feel like Pitchfork is just trolling, they're like that hipster friend who hates what everybody else loves just for the sake of being different.

This will forever remain one of my favorite albums of all time. The way every track flows directly into one another here is fantastic. Start this shit from the beginning and ride it out all the way to the very last second to truly appreciate this gem.
