Biography
"The One And The Many" is a four piece, alternative rock band, based in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Members are:
Dale Bredenkamp (Vocals/Acoustic Guitar)
Brad Yeoman (Guitars/Backing Vocals)
Miki van der Walt (Drums)
Warren Bodley (Bass)
The band was originally founded by Dale Bredenkamp (ex frontman of alternative rock group Southern Society) and Brad Yeoman (ex frontman of alternative rock group Siamese) in 2006. Warren Bodley and Miki van der Walt (ex members of the hard rock outfit Windowsil) joined soon after.
The band originally formed under the name "Judith" and after establishing a fan base through gigs in and around Johannesburg, began recording their debut album in late 2008 at their home studio, "The Confined Space". The self-titled album was written, produced and released independently by the band in May 2009.
In 2010 the band changed their name to "The One And The Many" due to fact that another band in the USA was already using the name "Judith". "The One And the Many" then repackaged and rereleased their 10 track, debut album in 2010 under the title "Formerly Judith" which will soon be available digitally from the likes of iTunes, etc and from the band's website directly.
