Biography

There are at least two bands called The Papers.

1. The Papers were a short-lived ska band from the United Kingdom, active in the early 1980s. John Fitzsimons (vocals, guitar, previously of glamrock cult band, Plod), Mike Fitzsimons (bass), John Wilkinson (guitar) and Norman Marsh (drums) were the band members. Based in South London they released two singles: 'How Many More' and 'The Only One I See Is Me'. John Fitzsimons rounded up most of the group's recordings from the early 1980s on an album called Fahrenheit in a Centigrade World (2006) and still leads a version of The Papers to this day (in 2021).

2. The Papers are an alternative / rock / electronica band from Thailand. Personnel: Chet Chetchotisak - Vocal, Guitar, Atichat Wattanasin - Bass Guitar, Nithi Prasarnphanich - Keyboard, Synthesizer.
