Biography
The Partisan is czech indie / pop / rock band from Pardubice founded 2005. Recent configuration of The Partisan was established during the spring 2005, as it transformed from the band LOW!, that existed since 2001 to 2004. LOW! and now The Partisan are existencially following Berlin, Bratrstvo and Park, bands, that were well known mostly around Brno. The band practises in Pardubice, which it considers to be a „domestic“ area. Its sound tends to reflect british guitar indie-punkrock, with a reference to other music directions… The repertoire contains inherent productin with mostly czech lyrics, which is predominantly work of a couple R.J.M./Daniela/Honza. Since the spring 2005 The Partisan are dirigenty concerting and preparing some representative demo. Since september, the band is followed by a new drummer, Brano Štefanca.
