Biography
The Past Impending formed in Seattle in the historic, industrial neighborhood of Georgetown. Just like Georgetown the songs are reminiscent of a lost era. They hold tight to folk rhythms, but seem to evolve rather than adhere to a set song structure. It is the passion and climactic endings that certainly make The Past Impending worth checking out. However, the best part has to be the driving pulse of the music. It will get you out of your seat and on your feet to dance!
Currently they are working on recording their first album, which is expected in the summer of 2012, but they are releasing an EP on February 16th which will include some of the new recordings.
