SF Sorrow, Emotions, and Rage Before Beauty are fantastic, that is really what I think! The Pretty Things & Fallen Angels forever!

I've been really getting into this band lately. Wow! I'm listening to Parachute. I should have checked it out years ago! Amazing record!

tbh of their earlier stuff (pre s.f. sorrow) only listen to 'get the picture' album and their s/t (which imo has a few fantastic bangers on it but that's about it). Still all the good stuff from their first few albums are gosh darn coated imo off

Замечательная психоделика, "Private Sorrow" - нечто мелодично-потусторонние, остальные песни тоже ничего.

Слушать их первую рок-оперу невыносимо скучно, а вот хороших ритм-энд-блюзовых вещей у них хватает.

Great British Invasion band that highly underrated. They have a great hard rock proto-punk & proto-metal sound (depending on the song). Good band.

I have endlessly played S.F Sorrow and Parachute, dunno which one I like more both very different but great. Some of the vocal harmonies and melodies absolutely floor me from both albums. Psychedelic genius.

All Dutch dates for this week cancelled… Here's the press release... "THE PRETTY THINGS Press statement, 22nd October 2014: The lead singer of The Pretty Things – Phil May – was admitted to Charing Cross hospital yesterday, after a routine doctor’s visit to collect regular medication. Hospital sources say that he was admitted for tests when his doctor found that his breathing was irregular. Tests have led to the discovery of the condition COPD, which is now being treated. He is not expected to be released from hospital before the weekend. The Pretty Things were to have started a tour of The Netherlands on the 23rd October, which has now had to be cancelled. The band and Phil May wish that their apologies be conveyed to all their fans in Holland and hope to return to fulfil dates as soon as possible." Get well soon, Phil.

Parachute is just one of the best albums i've ever listened to and it's my first time with this band. It gets better?

I'm halfway into S.F. Sorrow. It's really cool to see the succession of sound from album to album up to this point. The band's first album seemed sort of generic (especially for the time) but I'm really enjoying what I'm hearing the farther into their career I go.

How is it possible that Midnight To Six Man is not in the Top 20? One of my favorite sixties riffs. [2]
