>Similar to: Panzerchrist, The Monolith Deathcult, Blood Red Throne. I can understand TMD, but with the other two it feels like I've solely influenced these similarities lol. I might be having a main character syndrome again, but are there *really* that much people who tend to listen to this combination a lot?

From my understanding of the algorithm, it's about users and tags. Last.fm does tag-based grouping of artists that are scrobbled by the same people. So as long as they have similar tags, if people listen to a lot of band A, B, and C, they may start appear as similar. Which is the case here (Panzerchrist and Blood Red Throne sound nothing like TPH, but they're both tagged as death metal and 'someone' has scrobbled these a lot).

The more I listening to them, the more I am convinced that Kentha Philipson is a hell of a composer and TPH is one of the best acts ever fucking existed in a history of metal. Aimed for S.V.I.T.E.O.D. No doubt this one will be another killer.

At first I didn't like Ellinor's voice (and sometimes she's indeed too raspy), but later I get used to her. I also really like how versatile she is, from gentle singing to scream. To me she's creating another atmosphere than Jo/Ruby did, and hiring her was a right choice to bring something new without losing a signature sound.

New album might be out around June or sooner. only thing I didn't like about Rubys vocals was she sings with so much power that the lyrics get rolled over. Which makes it hard to understand the words. Ruby does have a lot of melody in her singing style though. New girl not so much unfortunately .

maybe, her voice good, but usual, new female vocalist (imho) have interesting vocal range, although she sounds bit strange sometimes, however her voice recognizable. and in the new album as for me, male clean vocals were superfluous.

I think the new singer is an improvement over the one they had right after dumping Jonna. Still not enough to make me interested in their new stuff though. She sounds kind of out of place.

Yeah, starts to sound a bit like a heavier Evergrey with some oriental flair with the current vocalist. The previous albums had much more fitting ones.

Excellent band, but their albums are a chore to get through. When the shortest tracks average out at 8 mins, it starts to drag like an absolute motherfucker. If they condensed their ideas into 3-5 minute tracks like most death metal bands, they'd be unstoppable.

I did not purchase it. Why should i pay for inferior music when there is AME or HDCE. They were much better albums.

Holy crap, female vocals are one of the worst I have ever heard. Time to cover this band in the shroud of bereavement. And those lyrics "Row row row your boat down the stream" lol. Band should be dead since Jo departure.

it's really a shame that they have stopped playing, but you can understand. would not be easy to play live all the originality and all the elements present in the albums. the sound is unique!

real music. instrumental flawless with a good guttural vocals alternating masculine and feminine without sounding boring or something (by the way, that beautiful voice that Portuguese ruby). As for the lyrical themes, always very interesting. Definitely, and Armageddon March Eternal Bleeding The New Apocalypse are the best records.
