1) The Prophecy is a progressive dark metal band with doom death roots from Yorkshire England. Formed in 2001, The Prophecy has released five studio albums, Ashes 2003, Revelations 2007, Into The Light 2009, Salvation 2013 and Origins 2017. The band has performed worldwide and is renowned in the underground for its live performances. The band has supported, among others, MY DYING BRIDE, NOVEMBRE, MOURNING BELOVETH, ESOTERIC, REVEREND BIZZARE, SATURNUS, JACK FROST and has performed at a number of metal festivals, including Bloodstock BOA, Day of Darkness IRE, Dutch Doom Days, Moscow Doom Festival, Brutalfest Cuba, and Midifest Beijing.
2) The Prophecy is a reggae band in Mauritius, active and locally popular since 2015.
