God Bless the Red Krayola and All Who Sail With It is the second commercially released studio album by the American rock band the "Red Crayola" who changed their name to the "Red Krayola" after being sent a cease & desist letter by the Crayola company (Binney & Smith). The album was released in May 1968 by the Texan independent record label International Artists, and features Mayo Thompson on guitar, vocals and piano; Steve Cunningham on fretless bass and chorus singers: Mary Sue, Dotty, Pat Pritchett, Barbara Metyko, Elaine Banks, Carolyn Heinman and Candy who were ex-members of the "Familiar Ugly", a secondary auxiliary that was present on the band's debut album.
God Bless marked the departure of founding member "Rick Barthelme" who moved to New York to pursue conceptual art and literature, he was subsequently replaced by drummer Tommy Smith (not to be confused with the Texan band "Tommy Smith & The Laughing Kind"). At the time of release, the album flopped and was panned by most critics, it originally sold only about 6,000 copies. However, later assessments have praised it for its experimentation and have described it as being a forerunner to "post-punk" as well as bands like the Minutemen, Unrest, Bastro and Gastr Del Sol.
