The Red Skies is M Wyse, an Australian singer-songwriter who spent his adolescence in Edinburgh and now lives in London. Originally from Melbourne, he grew up in rural South Australia listening to Australian folk and American country music, the likes of which included Guy Clark, Tim Hardin, Johnny Cash, Townes Van Zandt and Australian heroes like Tex Morton, Paul Kelly and Nick Cave. The Red Skies were formed in London in 2010 playing heart-wrenching acoustic alt-folk/country music.
