Biography
The Seeker debuted on 30 May 2001 and originally consisted of 2 main members: D.K on vocals and K.ITO (Kenichi Ito [伊藤賢一] on guitar with support from Daisuke Asakura (浅倉大介) on synth and Kazuaki Kawawaki on guitar/bass.
The Seeker first came together as K.ITO+D.K in 2000 to provide a song for the fictional band Nittle Grasper. They changed their name to The Seeker after the song for Gravitation: Sleepless beauty.
On 14 February 2004 Kenichi Ito left the band and a year later, on 5 June 2005 The Seeker disbanded. However, since 29 October 2017 The Seeker has been semi-active, performing at DA family live events put together by Kinya Kotani (コタニキンヤ)
In total, they released 1 full-length album, 1 mini album, 5 singles, a live album, a best-of album, 1 DVD and 2 VHS.
