Biography
There are several Artist known as The Sleeper:
1) Sleeper were a British Britpop band in the 1990s fronted by Louise Wener. The band had eight UK Top 40 hit singles and three UK Top 10 albums. Their music was also featured in the soundtrack of Trainspotting
2) The Sleeper was born in 1978, and raised in Belgrade. His first contact with music was when he was six. He got walkman as a gift and didn’t take a part of him, and because of that he lost hearing on a few days. Ten years later , The Sleeper decided to give himself to the house music. He was interested in a house and electro wave. He played music at various parties and events in great number of clubs. In the meanwhile he extended musical horizons, by turning more to deep and tech house sounds. He build name in the clubs scene of the city ground on his flawless mix technique and very specific range of uncommon record library. The Sleeper produces tracks on house labels like proloop, basetwentyfour, manuscript, 2600. His style is best described as deep house that is friendly for those who like the dancefloor and he make different and unique atmosphere.
3) The Sleeper is a five-piece Metalcore outfit from Leipzig, Germany that started out in 2010. It features ex-/members from bands such as Narziss and After rising Sun. They have a self-titled Demo up for free downloading and you can get it here: http://www.wantan-creative.de/the_sleeper/index.html
