the brilliancy of Morrisey's vox to me has always been that he can sing the darkest most depressing lyrics but his voice is still so soothing that it almost feels like he's singing you to sleep with a lullaby while doing so.

Forget for one second what Morrissey has become and remember he was once the man who wrote the lyrics to this. This song is perhaps his true masterpiece, utterly heartbreaking. It's so easy to laugh, so easy to hate. It takes strength to be gentle and kind.

I used to love The Smiths when I was fifteen. Now I'm 21, I have grown, my taste has changed, but this still remains the most cryable song I've ever listen to. So breathtaking.

You see the sea wants to take me, the knife wants to slit me. Do you think you can help me?
