Biography
The Strange Trip is an American band noted for their blending of musical genres. The band formed in 2011 in Orlando, Florida, with the current line-up solidifying in 2014. The band's members are Jason Cavett (guitar/vocals); Trevor Brown (drums); and Josiah Varney (bass). The Strange Trip's music blends elements of a wide variety of genres including rockabilly, funk, surf, blues, reggae, punk, jazz, psychedelic, folk, and rock. The Strange Trip has enjoyed moderate success by performing regularly. They have released several EP's and a live album. Although the band has received little radio play or mainstream exposure, The Strange Trip has developed a large and dedicated following.
