Biography
The Swan Bride, an indie-rock’n’roll band from Slovakia that’s not afraid to mix different genres, make some noise and scream as loud as possible to make people listen to what’s on their minds.
Formed in 2006 by ex-members of different bands, they finally found the way they always wanted to make music. Combining a big number of influences such as punk, rock’n’roll, new wave, eastern-european, spanish music and even classical music to create some noisy songs often accompanied by a little weird and dark lyrics about hidden identities, werewolves, swans and other creatures sleeping inside our hearts or drunken midnight drives outside of the town. It’s all about the difference between who we really are and who we are expected to be.
Trying to put every piece of their energy into their live gigs, they came up with a lot of raw, noisy and spontaneous shows during the last year, which many people seemed to like. In concerts they’re just doing their best to smash people in their faces with a great deal of energy to make them enjoy themselves and maybe think about what they’re trying to say.
