Biography
Weighing in at well over one thousand pounds (lbs), THE THICKNESS joined in 2005 seeking to entertain the masses with their version of Punk Rock Comedy. The band met at Berklee College of Music in Boston and instantly knew that their love for the punk would ostracise them from their jazz loving hippie constituents. Inking a deal with Sidehatch Entertainment in 2006 has propelled the band to new levels, allowing them to play all the great rat infested bars in New England and down the coast. They have released two EP's in the last year alone - "girth control" & "the kids'll love it". The band is now finishing the recording of their third EP currently untitled, and are constantly touring in support of the punk… With a triangle, lead bass, and stereo drums, THE THICKNESS will add girth and length to any crowd lucky enough to envelope the band entirely into their, uh, ears.
