There is more than one band called The Turpentines:
1) A rock band from Seattle, Washington. They released their debut album Hysterical Naked in 2010 and then they released two EP's in 2011, EP I on November 1, 2011 and EP II on December 20, 2011.

2) A punk/rock n roll band from Sweden that were active in the late 1990's and early 2000's. They released records through White Jazz Records. They released three singles, two splits and two full-length albums. Their last known lineup consisted of Markus "Macke" Karlsson (vocals, guitar), Tommy Andersson (guitar, vocals), Andreas Andersson (bass, guitar, vocals) and Anders Björnlund (drums, percussion). They disbanded at an unknown point in time.
