I only just discovered this project, and man, I am so, so happy I did. I've never heard anything like this. For years and years a fan of both lyrics-heavy underground hip-hop and lighthearted folk pop , I have never once thought that those two could go together, let alone so well. Made my day.

This is the best collaboration I've ever heard, and I'm not even a fan of hip hop in general. I've heard them each solo and don't care for them, but together, they're just my thing. She's too saccharine on her own, and he's too acidic. Put them together, though, and you got a great sauce. This album is a hip, cool, quirky, eminently sing-a-long-able, head-bopping, foot-tapping, hmmm??-inducing ride through modern American hopes and fears.

They left on very bad terms as I understand it from the press. This is it for music as a pair I think.

The more times I listen to this album the more in awe I am, not just with this project but with each of them individually, because they are able to come together from different spaces musically to make something so cohesive, fresh, and fun. I really believe they are two of the most innovative and intelligent songwriters around, and hell, you can have your own pet reservations, but you can't deny the depth and creativity displayed on the record.

Very amazing album. I like the mixture of funny wackiness and true darkness.

Thought it was weird and awesome that kimya did 2 songs with Aesop on Stelethon. then I found about this! Order the album, cant wait to get it.

v Well, yeah, of course. But to be honest it's strange when somebody calls a great rapper boring/bad especially if the dude is not really listening to hip-hop. I agree here for sure - at first I thought that the album is hit or miss too, but after a few more listents I realized that it's actually pretty good.

idk i think everyones entitled to a fair opinion... regardless if its based on their charts. but its clear some people dont "get" this collaboration, its quirky, its fun, its weird, its everything they both are individually meshed into one. it takes awhile to really appreciate it, seems like there is too much going on at first. but its pretty awesome :]

interesting concept but the actual product didn't work out very well. both of them are fairly boring artists on their own anyway. i would be interested in seeing a good rapper and folk artist collaborating though. and they have two of the most unpleasent voices of any popular vocalists i've ever heard.

the record is half genius and half boring. some of the darker moments like TV on 10 really shine but a lot of the other moments are just kinda dull [2]
