The Unknown Ghosts is an ongoing collaboration with Witchman's John Roome at the production helm. Heavy on the beats and bass, Transfer at Dub features such artists as Alex Paterson (The Orb) as well as upcoming artists like Livstrompet and Be-1ne. Over the previous 12 months John has been touring the globe as part of the Orb (also supporting under the Witchman guise across the US) as well as adding some flavour to the new Orb album. He has contributed 2 tracks to the Ultra Chilled series.
John Roome has released a fistful of Witchman albums out of the UK, including the critically acclaimed Explorimenting Beats and Heavy Traffic, plus a dub heavy release (Inferno) with Jammin' Unit of the highly influential Air Liquide - also available on Invisible Records. The last couple of years have seen John supply production work for the likes of Ian (The Cult) Astbury, The Orb and Finitribe as well dropping highly touted remixes for artists as diverse as Cornershop, Curve, Gary Numan, The Creatures, & Clawfinger etc.
With more time being spent in NY, Witchman has now set up Mekong Records through Underground inc. to showcase upcoming artists dropping cutting edge vibes spanning all areas of beat making. The Unknown Ghosts is the first taste of things to come.
