Biography

The Words We Use is a 6-piece post-hardcore band based out of New Haven County, Connecticut. This soon-to-be signed sextet is a relatively new band and hit the ground running after a somewhat rough start. In spring of 2011, the band went all the way to Ohio to record with Caleb Shomo of Attack Attack! for their debut single. On August 19th, 2011 they released that single, entitled: "I Like Your Style, Kid" - which in fact also features a guest appearance by Caleb and current Attack Attack! guitarist/vocalist and former member of My Ticket Home, Sean Mackowski. Their sound mixes elements of Pop including catchy choruses and memorable cleans with various Hardcore and Post Hardcore influences in their heavier riffs and tasteful breakdowns. They push the envelope and blend the best of the best to try and push themselves to the forefront of this newly emerging sonic genre. TWWU will soon be releasing their debut EP which was tracked & mixed at Chango Studios in Florida by engineer/producer Jake Garland (Memphis May Fire/Broadway) and mastered by Cameron Mizell (Ten After Two, Sleeping With Sirens). Along with an official music video and multiple cross-country tours to back up the release, TWWU will soon be out there, spreading the WORDS……
