Thonghuad Faited (Thai: ทองฮวด ฝ่ายเทศ) is a sor player from . The sor is the traditional two-stringed violin that is a mainstay of the musical culture of , the north east province that borders with Laos and Cambodia. Thonghuad comes from the tradition, the dominant rural music from Isan. He is a nationally recognised master of his craft who has additionally cut sides with dozens of established singers over the years, such as Waipod Petchsupan (alternate transliterations: Waipot Petsuwan, Waipod Phetsuphan and Waiphot Phetsuphan) and Angkanang Kunchai. At the peak of his fame he played up to five gigs a night in Bangkok.
