v other Funeral Noir Classical music ? Try 'Chopin's Nocturnes '(19th century). Or 'G.P.Da Palestrina' from 16th century. Also, search for the tags: ''church organ' or 'harpsicord' , many Classical or baroque stuff there are down-tempo and grim sometimes, and totally different from happy uplifting stuff like Mozart, Wagner or Vivaldi.

i know that the shoutbox is pretty much dead, but since "'Funeral/Noir Classical' Tracks" were mentioned, i just wonder if anybody could give me some advice on more classical music that fits this definition.

'Adagio' is pretty much the benchmark for all 'Funeral/Noir Classical' Tracks. Timeless!! [2]

His music sounds like Corelli but with an Oboe instead. Check out Corelli's Op. 6. I love as well though. Just gotta ignore the repetitive chord progressions.

I'm with Grosseteste Tomaso Albinoni is more than sufficient, but then we also live on lastFM with Heinrich Ignaz Franz von Biber and many other inflated and conflated names. What I'm most interested in achieving is some sort of convergence regarding classical listening which gets fragmented all over the place due to idiosyncratic tagging.

Grosseteste
Given that he's most commonly known as "Tomaso Albinoni", and that the unnecessary use of his mifddle name seems confined largely to a handful of CD covers, it's odd (and not a little irritating) that the correct version directs here and not vice versa. The power of streamable tracks on Last.fm, again.

Is it true that Albinoni is taking over vocals for Heaven and Hell now that Dio is dead?
